From our initial meeting with John we knew we wanted him to be our photographer, due to the high quality of work we had seen him produce and display on his page. He is very easy to get on with, is very competitive with his prices and offers a monthly payment plan, which is ideal, meaning when the big day is looming, the majority, if not all could already be paid. We loved seeing a sneaky peak of some of our photos a couple of days after the wedding , which made us excited to see the edited collection. Which we have now received and couldn't be happier. We had our wedding at the beginning of last month and had John as our photographer. We have been to a few weddings where John has been the photographer and he certainly hasn’t disappointed!John is super friendly, so professional and does exact what you want without you even realising. He spent all day with us even taking the time to travel to a few venues for the photos and then staying to enjoy our celebrations and photographing all our family and friends. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone with an event coming up. My only problem now is to decide which photos I want on my walls as I love every single one of them. John is incredible at what he does. When we first met him we knew we had the right photographer for us and the style of photoa we wanted. He put us so at ease and didnt complain once when my 2 small children kept runninf away from the camera haha. All the guests commented on how much of a lovely man he was and how good he was. The photos he takes are amazing and have had loads of complements. If i could rate any higher i would. Would recommend to anybody done the best photos i have ever seen.

Where do we start? John is from near our home town, but after seeing his work we knew he was who we wanted to shoot our wedding. Bear in mind I'm a very particular person who wanted very particular pictures, even sent him a word document with a map (as we travelled round the place we got married) and he captured everything we wanted and more. Our day was a little bit different as my husband wanted to scatter some of his mam and dad's ashes as they couldn't be there on the day, sadly. John went with the flow, our pace and never once felt rushed or posed, it was natural and never once felt he was there. Was never in our face at all and mingled with the guests. His banter was amazing and took some shots I'd never even thought of, received our photos quicker than he'd advised too and they're amazing. Worth every penny of our day and would recommend him to anyone.

We would definitely recommend John Alderson Photography, he was absolutely brilliant at our wedding at The Morritt Arms, Greta Bridge. He got on so well with our 5 teenage sons and really captured their individual personalities on camera. The photos are everything we could have asked for and more.
